Rooted Joy was launched from a deeply personal journey. A journey of faith, resilience, and God’s undeniable grace. Our story began when our son, RJ, entered the world facing several early challenges, including Torticollis and Plagiocephaly. Those days were filled with doctor visits, therapy appointments, and countless prayers. Through it all, we held tightly to our faith, believing that God would strengthen him and carry us through.

As RJ grew stronger, so did the testimony behind his life. Watching him overcome obstacle after obstacle reminded us of the power of being firmly rooted in Christ. What was once a difficult season became a powerful story of healing, hope, and joy a joy that only God can give.

Rooted Joy emerged from that story.

We wanted to create something meaningful, something that reflected RJ’s journey and encouraged other families walking through their own. What started as a simple idea turned into a purpose-driven children’s brand centered on Colossians 2:7: “Rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith… and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Every design, message, and detail in our brand is inspired by RJ’s testimony and the belief that every child is created with purpose. We didn’t just start a clothing line, we started a movement of encouragement. A way to speak life over children and remind families that no matter what they face, joy grows when your roots are in Christ.
